There are a few reasons why this could be happening.
If you’re a free/registered user but not a member, you will encounter a paywall when trying to access members-only pages such as The History of the Puzzle Society and The Official Order. You’ll also encounter a paywall when trying to access certain member-exclusive features on our site, such as access to level archives, achievements, and USA TODAY Crossword.
If you have a Puzzle Society membership and you’re still seeing paywalls, double-check that you’re signed into your account. If you don’t have an account, you can create one here.
There’s also a chance that your membership has expired. You’ll need to renew your Puzzle Society membership to keep playing puzzles as you did when you had a membership and to avoid paywalls. To fix, visit the Billing Information page in your account settings.
If you have exhausted the above options and are still encountering paywalls around the site, there may be a problem with your account or payment information. Reach out to us at support@thepuzzlesociety.com and we’ll do our best to resolve any issues you may be experiencing.
